Hi all - new to the group.

I have small acreage of mineral rights only and would like to know what are:

1. acceptable - lease terms and royalty costs

2. good - lease terms and royalty costs

3. i won't get greedy!

I've been contacted by first landman ever................... so learning the ropes.............

Help is very much appreciated!

Risa

Hello Risa and 'WELCOME TO MINERAL RIGHTS FORUM'. First off we need to know the exact location(Section, Block, and/or Abstract number) of your minerals. Location in the county can make a big difference......if there is production or activity in that region. Give me the exact location and I can pull up a map to see what is in the area.

Again 'WELCOME TO MINERAL RIGHTS FORUM'

Thanks,

Clint Liles

Thank you so much, Clint, for the quick reply. I own a partial part of below.............

I have complicated coordinates

but I also have this: T W WARD SUR A-1348 11.239 ACS

That's the Reference info from TexasFile.com

If not enough - let me know.............

Thank you, again. I have the landman at my heels and after reading from this Forum, I realize I don't need to be whipping out my pen to sign "yesterday" - as I felt I was supposed to!

Risa…At this time I am at my ranch deer hunting…and Don’t have my laptop…hopefully someone else can help you. Good luck with your minerals. Clint Liles

I'm jealous! Best of luck................... we don't get much good venison out here in California, tho' I have a friend who shares his when he gets some.

When you return, if you can assist me, please do. I can wait!

Again - good luck!
