In a post by LCSJR1 (Nov 2025) Oilman1 commented to message offline (not able to do that). I have rights in Duchesne County T3S R5W Sections 27 and 34 (wells with leases in 34). Also T3S R4W Section 5 lots 3 and 4 (wells with leases here as well). I have a lease rate and term in mind.
I’ve been unsuccessful maneuvering the UDOGM Data Explorer for new permits. Any advice on how to find any, or am I using the incorrect tool?

Crescent Energy has a rig drilling into 36-35 3S-5W.
Crescent has permits into sec 5 3S-4W. That section is held by production already. Better contact them.

What do the black diamonds represent? I’ve not found the legend for the results shown.
Also, there are several horizontal wells (?) running very near by our 2 wells in 3S 4W. Is it advisable to contact those operators to see if we should have documented interest in those wells?
If you go to the bar at the top, the far right icon is a stack of cards. It is the layers option. You can toggle on and off for the options and go them to see what each group looks like. Looks like the diamonds are the surface locations for the pending permits. On many maps like this, the solid lines are producing horizontals and the dashed lines are proposed or drilling horizontals. Yes, contact the operator to see if you have an interest in the new wells.
