I have mineral interest in the Bullsnake 1404A well permitted Feb 14 2025. I understand that drilling was started immediately on what is permitted to be a unique 3 mile horizontal drill by Continental Resources. Other than this initial information, I have not been able to gather any other info re the status of the well. What methods if any are available for individuals that allows us to monitor progress. I would expect there to be some news or information after 7 months of work. Is there some way to determine if the well is still being drilled? I am out of state which makes an on the ground inspection impractical.
The side trick to watching for a completion is to go on FracFocus.org and use the advanced search to look for the frac job. I just checked and it is not listed yet. It is common to have a three-four month lag on the RCC for completion reports. Since the well is not fracked yet, it is currently listed as a DUC. Drilled UnCompleted.

Looks like the well was spud 2/22/2025 with a rig release of 4/28/2025. Looks like Continental is averaging 7-9 months from spud to completions/sales in the area. They probably have it on the schedule to be completed by Thanksgiving but that is just an educated guess.
