Do I need to list my Mineral Rights in my Trust?

Yes! Mineral Rights are property. We live in Colorado and sold property in Kansas while retaining the mineral rights. We contacted our Elder Attorney in Colorado and an attorney in Hays, and they will work together so we can avoid double probate costs for our Executor.

Yes, it is very important to get an attorney to review the mineral rights and deed them into the trust properly. They do not just magically belong to the trust if you list them.
