I am now vindicated today, with the just published amended permit of the Jenson KN which changes the name to Ericson KN and the Jenson Unit has been dropped from the unit, apparently.
Quoting from the permit: “Amended to reflect true surface location and lease name changed from the Jensen KN to the Ericson KN (P-4 submitted on 6/12/2026). (06/24/2026 01:38:29 PM)”
The unit is now 370.029 acres lighter.
Phil
The allocations for the Ericson KN
Ericson 12.19%
Klaras 47.15%
Nucor 40.66%
Unit acreage amended to:
682.413 ac Ericson
429.314 ac Klaras
349.7439 ac Nucor
These numbers come from the “as drilled plat” just published on the RRC website.

Chris, regarding the COMSTOCK JONES LA 1H well in Leon County: The surface location is on land that is not included in any of the 3 pooled units associated with the well as seen on the RRC website. Why is that the case? Does that mean the mineral rights owner of the land where the well was drilled will not receive any royalties?
Thanks for this! I just downloaded them all and updated my records.
Morning. I believe the penetration point for the well is in the jones. specifically tract 1 in the jones gu. they have all the leases in that survey mainly for the Lotspeich BJ, Brown Trueheart W, Hutto TMM, Hutto Roddell. They will have certain surface use agreements for well set up but where they hit mineral rights is penetration point which is in the Jones.
Hi Chris, would you happen to know the status of the Lotspeich well? Thanks

The well had first sales July 2026. DOs are estimated to be mailed out September.
Thanks Chris. I’m looking forward to getting the DO
Hello again Chris, do you have any information on the two Seaburg wells?
