Is the website Courthousedirect.com accurate on mineral rights? How often is it updated?

Jim: Records are updated based upon filings made. If somebody has a mistake in the item filed, the the recording clerk does not vet to contents for accuracy. Title examination is typically done by an attorney or landman trained in understanding what has been filed. Often there may be conflicting, missing or confusing information on file. Occasionally, but rarely, something is mix-indexed. Sometimes it takes a probate or quiet title to settle issues. Richard Winblad
