This is a really good well. The initial reports (155 barrels) were likely made before all the frack water came off, before the well had stabilized, and are misleading on the low side. I saw a report from another source that showed this well at 1723 bo/d and 2748 Mcf/d, which is consistent with the 3rd quarter report.
I own minerals in 8/16w10n the well name is Ladd 5_8xh but have no information on it other than occ/ well data is 155 bod. But clr. 3.rd qrt report has it at2082 boe with 79% oil other than have no info
Any one aware of the going lease prices in 11-16N-11W? I received a lease offer from Marathon Oil for $1,500 @ 3/16. Marathon plans to drill the Strack 1-2/11XH as multi-unit horizontal well in sections 2&11-16N-11W. Also do I want a depth clause, transportation clause? Thanks.
Charles: Yes, you would want a depth clause, no-deductions clause, Shut-in Royalty clause, etc. However, looking at the online records, it appears that you are already leased by a 2014 lease in this section with Continental. Are you sure this is the correct legal, or was there additional acreage in this section that was not leased in 2014?
Devon and Cimarex partner up a lot on wells in Blaine & Canadian County, and they have a great working relationship. Iāve had this happen to me before where Cimarex started the paperwork, and Devon jumped into the process and eventually became the operator and drilled the well. So Iām not surprised to see both Cimarex and Devon filing on the same section. They are both good companies. No matter which one ends up being the operator, it will be a shared venture.
Several weeks ago we received notice from the corporation commission stating applicant: Cimarex was looking to drill a multi unit horizontal well in sections 24 and 25 township 15 range 11 west - Blaine County. Then today we received notice Devon relief sought: delete drilling and spacing units and establish horizontal well units in 24-15-11. We own in section 24 and donāt know what this means. Are both companies drilling in section 24 or did Devon possibly supersede Cimarex application? We donātā know much about how all of this process works. Any guidance would be appreciated!! Thank you!
My name is Travis, Iām having a hard time getting my profile set up. I have some minerals in section 24-16N-12W. My mother passed away in 2010 leaving the minerals to me. I just finally got them put in my name. Iāve herd on several occasions that there are a coupla energy companies wanting to drill in this section. How do I find out if what I have is going to be included. Iām clueless on this so any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Your entire section is held by the production of the Manke 1-24 well. Continental has recently filed both a spacing cause and a pooling cause on your section, and these are part of the routine applications that are done as they prepare for drilling a well. Your minerals will be included since the entire section is included in these applications. There are really no decisions that you can make at this point, as it is out of your hands. If they end up drilling a well, it will be many months from now before the results are published.
Ok. I saw that it went through. Thanks for the info on my question. I have a coupla more if you donāt mind educating me on this. When they pool. Do they reach out to me cause I have not herd anything from anybody. Also. If I have minerals in section 24 does that mean anything in that section Iām in on. Thanks in advance
Yes, if you have minerals in section 24, you should be āin onā anything that happens.
On this pooling cause, they have listed a long laundry list of 272 people.
Just to be safe, they oftentimes list all royalty owners, even on HBP acreage such as yours. Your name is NOT on the list.
Furthermore, I checked the online system (okcountyrecords.com) and I donāt see your name or anyone with last name of Hardee listed on any transactions for the last 15 years; however, it may not be indexed properly.
When you say you just got the minerals āput in your nameā, what exactly did you do? Did your mother have a probate, or was an affidavit of heirship filed?
Itās possible that your motherās name, with an old address, is on the pooling cause instead of yours.
Hereās a link to the pooling cause if youād like to take a look:
