Grrrrr, I talked with Te-Ray,was told that grandma owned in sec 2-2n-21e, beaver county. Was told that Cheseapeake has one producing well, and QEP had two producing wells. Called Cheseapeake and Grandmothers name is not showing up. A Land Tech with them is to call me back. Amazes me that Te-Ray found Grandma's name and knew more info. than Cheseapeake who has a well in that section. Mineral Joe I'm going to start skinning my second cat!!!! LOL.
On those 93-97 checks, it was the Justin wells they paid on and it was Questar's? Also, were they the ones that were doing the increased well density? I'd talk with QEP and see what they say.
Yes it was Questar, who paid and did the increased well density. I talked with QEP yesterday, and was told Grandma's name is not on sec. 1 or sec 2. On increased well density there are no names I recognize, not mine or my sisters or Grandma's, but recieved them in 2003, 2004, and 2005. So confused, this is so very draining. Hmmmm now what??
Have you gone to county court records yet??? Make a trip to Beaver (cow chip capital of America) … Pull all the court records on the above sections and start tracking back from last entry… I have done this in Texas county and now have my own copy off all the actions on my sections in Texas County… If nothing else it’s a very great learning experience and history!!!
I'd QEP a copies of some of those revenue statements from them to your grandmother and they should be able to find if there were a transfer order if it were sold to someone and if not ask them why they stopped paying. Robert is correct if you have a day to run over there. Did your grandmother own land or a house in Beaver County that might have been sold when she passed or after 1997? Did you ask TE-RAY how they knew she owned in the other section?
Hi Joe, Hope you had a nice Fathers Day. Crud I can't find the copy of revenue statments that questar sent to me in 2005. No Grandma didn't own any land or homes in Beaver county. The lady I talked with from QEP was very nice, The second time she talked with me, I asked if she could send a copy of paper work that showed Grandma's name on sec. 2. She said Grandma's name was not on sec. 2. Don't know why she told me it was, when we first talked. Gosh my head is spinning, I've talked to so 3 company's, and try to take notes on what each say. I'm a mess. So when I can going to make road trip to Beaver county. If we're ever in the same area maybe I could buy you a coke. Roxanna.

I am in Fairview all the time and I occasionally get to Woodward and Chester/Seiling. Even though I own and buy minerals in Beaver County it's pretty far and have no intention on going there any time soon other than going thru there next month but will be on vacation.
No Roxanne I am a flight medic and trying to learn stuff on here to protect myself in future transactions… I live in Spearman but have land and Minerals in Texas county… Read through this forum as you get time, there is lots of good info on here…
