Regarding Mitsui, but not specifically, I am interested in this “testing” period. Not sure the science behind it, but I figure the six wells they laid are under going testing now. I figured that may take several weeks or months for them to do the work to figure out how they want to extract.
Don’t know much about this however. The timeline also assumes the work it takes to build the treatment plant in Anderson County.
Being new to the US may take time, although it seems like they are meticulous and don’t mind renewing the option on the lease and taking their time. I understand the long-term goal for the Japanese corporations. Supply chain.
