Does anyone have any information on these 4 wells in abstract A-437 in Leon County, Texas? Hutton/Rodell, Brown/ TrueheartBB, Hutto/TMM, Jones/LA. Thanks
Jones LA is currently drilling. Spud date was 8/25/2025.
All the others are drilled but not completed.
Alan, this is very interesting news for our family. Can you elaborate on the drilling and tell us how you know that? Thanks very much!
I have access to a O/G industry data service called Enverus. It provides status reports on each well as well as a lot of other data.
We appreciate it Alan, thanks!
Is this the one that includes 289322123 on the TRRC site? I am pooled on that one. I am curious as to what “production date” will be, as the lease I have expires at the end of the year (no option). I would love to renegotiate and get 1/4 instead of 1/5. I know the pipeline will be online in less than 6 months, according to crew I talked with along the road.
Are you sure of the number 289322123, re-check for typo
thank you. it is 28932213. I must have fat-fingered that.
I have been waiting for about One
one week for approval of 2 posts that I sent you. Thanks

28932213 is the Lopspeich/BJ which runs s/se, 30,000 ft. I understand that this was recently spudded.
yes it was. I can see it from my property now, and as of last week I can hear it too. With your expertise, what would you estimate as “production date” for this well? The reason I ask is because my lease expires at the end of this year, and I would love the chance to get 25% instead of 20%.
Look at topic Blackburn BW WS Fisher A-285, according to Alan Fisher ,in that article 28932213 Lopspeich has a spud date of 8-25-2025
John, Are you part of the larger Williams family (Ellis & Stella) in Leon County?
No, I am not. My parents bought the property in the early 70s. For 50 years we have been dreaming of this. Actually, this is better. We had been hoping for oil, and had never thought of gas.
Thank you. Comstock just told me via email that Lotspeich BJ has an estimated first sales date of next April. My lease expires at the end of this year, no option. Should I be able to renegotiate a new lease? I would love to get to 1/4 instead of 1/5. A new bonus would be nice too.
Do you know if the unit has been formed for the Lotspeich well? If it has and your lease is in it, you are considered held by operations which will evolve into production.
Most leases have a provision that operations, such as commencing drilling or prepping the well pad, will hold the lease past the primary term. Only if your lease requires that the first well be producing at the end of the primary term would it expire. The Lotspeich well was spud in August.
