# WTI price VS what oil company paid royalties on

Not worth it. 99% of all oil companies aren’t able to realize the WTI price because of their proximity to the hub. Trust me if they could get a higher price for their oil & natural gas they would. It’s just the way they have managed the marketing of their production.
