We inherited 650.00 acres in mineral rights in Section 278, Block D. It was leased from us over 3 years ago but we have moved and not heard anything. Since I was born in Midland and only spent my first year of life there, I am interested in visiting my birthplace and checking on the mineral properties. Perhaps, I am searching for the information incorrectly on the web but I have been unable to locate a map or directions. Thanks in advance, Don…a Texan returning home.

You can copy these coordinates (33.263460, -102.896439) into Google Maps and get directions.

Here’s Google’s aerial view with your section in red.

Judging from the RRC’s [http://wwwgisp.rrc.texas.gov/GISViewer2/](http://wwwgisp.rrc.texas.gov/GISViewer2/), there aren’t any wells on your property.
