# What happens after force pooling is paid off?

Hey folks,

I was force-pooled in NM and currently paying off the 200% risk penalty to the operator. My question is this: What happens when the risk-penalty is paid off? Do I become a full-working interest owner? Am I subject to the ongoing expenses even though I didn’t participate? If the operator decides to recomplete and drill into a different layer, do they have to go back and get a new force-pooling order?

I haven’t been able to find any reading on this. Thanks in advance.
