Would anyone have any insight on if there is any oil and gas activity present in Ward County Block 33 Section 6 Abstract 1350? Thanks in advance.

See map from ENVERUS. Recently completed Wolfcamp Hz by Continental just across the county line in Reeves County. IP of 1500 BOPD. This is the only new Hz in this immediate area over the past 24 months.

Adding zoom map of Section 6 in Block 33 showing all well control. The NE-SW oriented green laterals are all operated by Continental Resources. No reason to believe that they will not eventually fill in the “gap” and drill laterals in the remaining area in Section 6. Question is only “when.”

Note all this info including permit activity can be found on the Texas RRC site.

Thank you for the response. I agree with you it is not a matter of if but indeed “when.” I think they will circle back as well.

This area may be HBP by the active production and therefore making it less necessary to drill to maintain the acreage.

Higher oil prices may speed up Continental’s efforts!
