Own 42 acres of mineral lease in Nicholas Crunk League Survey # A-62 through inheritance. Received letter from Vernado agent with offer to pay $225 per acre to amend lease to add term of 3 years and additional option to extend for 2 years. Vernado apparently bought the lease from Geosouthern. Haven’t talked to Vernado yet. Being somewhat of a novice mineral owner is this an acceptable offer or can I make a counter? Anyone know of production on this lease?
