They have approached me with an offer to lease at $100/acre and an 8th royalty in Marion County. I know that this is a low offer even in the current market, but there hasn’t been too much activity before now. Is this a middle/holding company or a legitimate entity? And should I take this offer seriously?

I’d like to find out more about BRANTA PRODUCTION COMPANY LLC, out of Houston, Texas. Anybody else have a lease agreement with them?

Are there other members contacted in May 2013 by Colt for leasing in Upshur County's Calvin Anderson Survey? It is about 20 miles north of Longview Texas on Hwy 155. I cannot find that there is much gas activity in that area now.
