Hi. My family was recently contacted about selling our mineral rights on a property in Howard County, Texas. There is no current production on this property. The offer seems decent, but I really have no idea what it’s worth or if there is any activity in the immediate area. This makes negotiating difficult. How do I find out if there’s some new activity near this property and how do I determine a value?

BJ If you will post the legal location (Section, Block or Abstract number) of your minerals in Howard County we can check the GIS (Geographic Information System) Map and let you know if there is production or activity in the area.
