I have a horizontal well in Hughes County, Oklahoma. 28-7N-9E. With my last royalty check I received a summary of all my payments from Foundation Energy Management since they purchased my lease from Corterra Energy in 2021. Does this mean my lease has been sold to someone else? When I Google for information it mentions a company named Evolution Petroleum purchasing 50% of certain interests held by Foundation Energy Management. However, it does not mention Oklahoma. I have reached out to Foundation Energy Management but received no information. Appreciate any help you can provide. wyogirl

Wells and leases get sold all the time. The OK wellrecords site does show the Foundation purchase from Coterra.
