# Some good news for East Texas

Hopefully we have a little good news for East Texas. It has been a while 🙂
Petroquest published an announcement on their website. They have drilled three wells from one pad in the Cotton Valley and according to the report, the three wells tested at over 25 million cubic feet of natural gas per day along with an impressive amount of liquids. I know these numbers would not make anyone excited in other parts of the country, but for us, these are good production numbers.
They do not give any information about the name of the wells but they have been leasing and drilling in the east portion of Panola County for several months.
