Hi y’all,

Why would XTO drill 7-9 wells in Martin County then show them all as “shut in producers” on the Texas RRC Website? Thank you.

Frac’ing offsets, just not producing yet, XTO is a bunch of clowns. All sorts of possible answers. Which unit is it?

Those were drilled 1Q24. They are just sitting there waiting to be frac’d.

Over the past year, for wells XOM completed in Midland Basin (114 wells):

Median spud-to-frac: 304 days Median spud-to-sales: 405 days

Add about 6 months until you get paid, and you are looking at probably getting a DO here around Labor Day 2025 and a check by Thanksgiving.

Maybe.

Thanks again. Something to look forward to next year sometime.
