Be aware, that no solicitations to buy are allowed on the forum. (You may get lowball offers by putting yourself out here by folks masquerading as mineral owners-just saying). Much better to get multiple offers from reputable brokers. Know your cost basis before you go into a deal if possible, because you may have to pay capital gains taxes. If you don’t know it, the IRS will set it at $0 and you may have to pay taxes on the entire sales price. Never hand over a deed without getting paid in person.

Depending upon where your tracts are in those two sections, you have some nice gas wells that will last for a while and potential horizontal drilling in your area. You might consider hanging onto your acreage for a while and see what happens in the next year or so. Also, you do not have to sell all your acreage, you can sell some and keep some if you want to split your risk a bit.

Learned about Brigham Minerals today (because of their IPO). Their website says they are buying minerals in Grady County. FYI.

This is DEEP Grady though, right? Maybe prolific gas, but will it get developed any time soon?
