What is the typical time period or expiration date for a Seismic Permit contract?

CGG is looking to do a seismic survey on our land in Dawson County, which is currently unleased.

Six months is what I’ve seen requested and what I’ve given in Seismic Permits I’ve signed. That should give them plenty of time.

Why do you want to allow seismic on an unleased tract?

That is not true for many companies, particularly in active areas. Generally, the seismic company is working on behalf of the owner of a large seismic library which is banking data to license to large oil companies. This is a profit operation and not being conducted by an operator.
