# Sec 13-1S-3W Carter Co lease offer

I got a lease offer for $1000/ac bonus for 1/8 royalty, $750/ac bonus for 3/16, or $500/ac for 1/5, or $0/ac for 1/4. I also got a notice that Black Mesa Production has applied for “Irregular Horizontal Drilling and Spacing Units.” Does that mean they plan to drill soon? Should I be able to get a better deal?

I would think you should be able to get a better deal. Who is the offer from? You have to be careful here, a few shady groups…

Try reaching out to TODOC Properties, Echo, Continental or Citizen Energy for a better offers.

I haven’t either. Maybe a broker? [https://okcountyrecords.com/results/omni=todoc/page-1](https://okcountyrecords.com/results/omni=todoc/page-1) doesn’t have much on them, especially recently.

Those are all typos on the database. At least the ones going back to 1992 are. The leases actually say TODCO.
