I need to find out the price of mineral rights sales in April of 2011 for purposes of determining the tax basis on an upcoming sale. My estate lawyer at the time did not provide an accurate assessment. I do not know how to go about doing this, and would like to know if it’s possible to do on my own remotely. Any suggestions would be appreciated - thanks and Happy Labor Day!
