Has anyone heard of Remnant Resources LLC out of Midland? They have recently been doing some leasing in Dawson County.

We are currently talking to them about a lease. Our minerals are in the SW/4 of Section 40, Block 36, Township 5 North. Since they are not producers/drillers, I asked about their interest in leasing. They said that they will put together leases and/or purchased minerals and partner with a producer to develop the area retaining an interest. I did not drill down to get more specific. They are a relatively new company founded in 2022.

Remnant is a very legitimate group. They work with Waymon Pitchford, Dune Resources, and a couple other entities (just search the County records - you’ll see they’ve done a lot of business in Dawson). They’ve been active in Dawson for a few years, buying and leasing. Professional group with legit money behind them.
