# Received offer in Stephens County

Greetings, I’m new to the group. I inherited mineral rights in a few counties, including Stephens. I have received a pretty good offer from Continental for the rights in Stephens, and it’s the first offer in quite a while. Something must be happening or about to happen there. I am absolutely clueless about mineral rights. Does receiving this offer mean I should hang onto what I have, or sell while the offers are good? Thank you for the guidance. I’m certain many will say it’s a personal preference, which I understand. Any input would be appreciated.

Receiving offers often means something is about to happen. First offers are generally low to the actual value-just to see if someone will bite. If you wish to share your section, township and range, then the forum can give an idea about the activity in the area. Always good to get information before making a decision.

There are too many to type out, and as a new user, I can’t add an attachment, unfortunately. When I try and copy and paste from an Adobe scan, the formatting is terrible.
