I just received a lease for oil/gas. Can anyone give me some sound advice as to what is the going rate for royalty and signing bonus per net acre are. The land is in Weld County.

We have minerals under Township 8 North, Range 59 West. We’re currently being offered $500 bonus, 1/6 royalty, 3/2. We haven’t negotiated a deal yet, but we won’t take 1/6 royalty. Unsure about bonus rate. Any suggestions?

The oil company seems to have stuck at the 500 bonus and 3/16 royalty so far with us. Whom are you dealing with?

The rep is with Exterra Resources, but I don’t think they’re the operators. Maybe Noble Energy? We’ve been talking to the rep since April. Which company are you dealing with?

Contex Energy first but the lease will be with Whiting Oil.

How do you contact Noble, Contex, or Whiting if you have rights you would lile to lease? Do they call you or is there a way to contact them to see if they are interested?

We have an offer from Noble Oil on Township 5, North Range 66, West, 6th P.M., Section 08.
Just trying to learn more about this, our offer is good for 45 days. This at one time was my great grandmother’s property and they held onto the mineral rights there. Any help would be appreciated.
