# Property tax dodging partners

What can I do when I own a small percent of land and minerals and I inherited land and a cabal of miscreants. They happily partake in proceeds but barely avoid paying property taxes. I’ve overpaid already and I’m not rolling in spare money. Don’t want to lose land in tax auction. Don’t think dividing it would be equitable as tax dodger knows the land, wells, etc.
Can I pay and sue tax dodger in Small Claims court in CA? We’re both CA residents.
Suggestions and strategies welcomed.
