Ok here is my two cents since I work in the Accounting/Finance industry. If they initiated a check run yesterday it could take from 2-5 business days to receive our deposits. This is not a wire transfer to most of these small town banks. I would say we will see it fund next week April first or second. Just my opinion if what Judy says is accurate.

My PV check was listed in my bank account as “pending.” My bank is Capital One. It takes the bank days to make an electronic deposit available, which makes me think they are using the money for a few days before making it available to me. If I didn’t like the ladies at my local bank, I’d think delayed deposit is a little shady. But I’m not a lawyer. Direct deposits at other banks don’t seem to have this delay.

Agreed direct deposits usually don’t. Now personal checks have a hold given the amount at most banks.
They are earning interest on you without you being able to use the money.
