# Participation in the development of a well

I noticed that the pooling order for 21-6N-4W continues to have the option to participate in the production. Since the wells are now completed and I am sure the production is known by some, if one had the wherewithal… it seems like that would be a safe bet. I guess that would also apply to going for 1/4 royalty vs an eighth… although the bonus can be a factor to many. If one had signed a lease a year ago, it seems to me the risk would have been much greater than waiting for pooling or a late lease signing. So, why sign early?
What am I missing here? And no… I do not have that “wherewithal.” But that is why I was confused in why Casillas waited so long to pool. N

Sometimes companies just get behind. Last year was crazy with COVID, staffing issues, etc. Some folks would want to back in and participate.
