Is anyone hearing news or pertinent information of the Osage Nation in NE Oklahoma actively pursuing “reclaiming” ancestral territories outside of Osage County? I have producing mineral rights in eastern Kay County and am concerned over bits and pieces of news I’m running across. Are the Osages “reclaiming” land and mineral rights in Oklahoma? Have any court cases been presented to this effect?

They’ve been in court battles for years, I think they are currently suing the United States. All of this will take years to sort out, at this point who knows how it all pans out.
