# Oil and gas expired lease

Hello, I’m trying to find out what’s going on with my Yates lease. I heard Yates sold out to EOG out of Houston. The lease should have expired in October of 2018 unless there were extending circumstances. I haven’t heard a thing from them. It’s T13 South Section 6 34 East 9.2 NMA. I would love to know what’s going on. Can anyone help me? Thanking you in advance.

Welcome to the forum. Please include the state and county in all postings as that will help get you a better answer. This is a general leasing category and may not be watched by people in your state. If you post your question in the State and County where your minerals are, it works better. Go to HOME and then All Categories and scroll down on the left to find your state, open it and then open your county. Then hit NEW TOPIC and post your question.

To clarify, are you referring to Lea County, New Mexico? If so, it does not appear there are any operating wells in this Section, so no production would be holding a lease.
