Some individuals who post here have never seen their interests on an oil and gas map. I am attaching one courtesy of the Texas RRC Map Viewer so you can see why someone might be interested in buying your minerals, especially if the hopeful buyer has an expectation new development will happen. Your position is approximately 10 miles S-SE of Kermit, Texas.  
I do not have any geological or industry details about your area.

You are probably getting interest because there are new permits for horizontal wells just to the south of you in Block A. There is a new permit in B11-sec 21. If you have no need to sell, then sit back and what develops.
