From some outfit called Great Southern Minerals. We are not selling, but I am trying to see what the offer is. Things are getting interesting!

It was sort of odd. They wanted to know if it was leased and at what royalty %. I had a lease in 2014 for $450 and 3/16 and acre that expired in 2017. He never responded back! If they make an offer, let me know. I am not selling, but would like to see what the offer is.

That is standard operating procedure. The royalty percentage on your lease obviously dictates the amount royalty income you will receive if a well is drilled so buyers factor in your lease royalty into an offer. It is a big component of a purchase offer actually.

I get that, but if it is not leased, there should be an amount they still want to give. If they bought it they could negotiate a 25% lease with somebody!
