I keep telling myself I’m going to buckle down and learn more about the ins/outs and capabilities of the OCCE Web site. I’ve used it many times but feel I’m only scratching the surface.

The specific question at the moment is that I was wondering if it is possible to tell the current lease status of a particular Section or area, with dates and that sort of thing. The way these leases operate, who holds them, and for how long has always been a bit of a mystery to me.

The better place to look is [www.okcountyrecords.com](http://www.okcountyrecords.com) . Garvin goes back quite a ways. You can search on name, section, etc.
