Needing copies of ownership papers had bad fire in Texas Panhandle papers were burned up.

You’ll need to post more information before anyone can help you. What kind of papers are you looking for… deeds, oil leases, or something else?

What’s the legal description of the property you are trying to find papers on (County, Block and Section, or Survey Name or Abstract number)?

You may be able to get copies from [Texasfile.com](http://Texasfile.com) depending on the County and the filing date. If that does not work for you, try contacting an abstract/title company in the County and request they get copies for you. Certified copies can only be provided by the Clerk’s office. All of this comes at a cost. Make sure to keep digital copies in the future on some service like Google Drive. Good luck.
