# Moxy Explortion / Monterey Energy Group - Anyone know about them?

Have an offer from Moxy Exploration. See another person has received an offer as well from Moxy. However, I can’t find any solid information on them or their parent - Monterey Energy Group. There is a Monterey Energy Group out of California that does energy designs for buildings and homes. I also found Moxy doing a project with McMoran back in 1995.

Spoke to Moxy today. They are acting as a pure mediary for Monterey Energy Group. They are making a good cash offer but are not willing to provide Pugh, Mittlestadt, depth or shut-in clauses. This of course has me greatly concerned.

Moxy confirmed that this is the Monterey group in California that is an energy engineering consultant that designs mechanical systems for homes and light industrial.

This seems strange that a company not involved in the O&G industry is trying to buy leases in OK. Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated. Are they trying to get ready for potential shale plays in California?

Check out MONTEREY SHALE on Google. It is a large shale play that covers most of the California Central Valley.
