Hi – we were contacted by Patch Energy about mineral rights in Winkler County. I contacted some attorneys, but they said the travel time would be very expensive. Does anyone have any recommendations of attorneys in Winkler County? I have been quoted a 30% contingent fee to $10,000-$15,000 in fees to start with. Does this seem correct? Thank you!

@cdlovesmakeup whoa, hold on.

What exactly is your question?

To begin with, the word “contingent” gives me pause… and second, in the age of computers, travel to a local courthouse is largely becoming a thing of the past.

What exactly is it that you are trying to accomplish?
