I am helping an elderly friend determine exactly how many net mineral acres he owns in 25-10N-9W, Caddo county, Oklahoma. I have good starting documentation, but need a good reasonably priced landman or such who can provide some thorough research. Any local recommendations?

You may be able to track the ownership using this website for Caddo. Start there.

> **[Real Property Official Records Search](https://www.uslandrecords.com/oklr/)**

You may be able to find a landman at: [Homepage](https://personify.landman.org/PersonifyEbusiness/Home/AAPL-Public-Directory). Suggest that you use a CPL or RPL as they have a higher training level and must abide by ethical standards. The landman does not have to be in Caddo county.

If you have a decimal interest from a royalty payment stub, know what the royalty is and the spacing of the well; you may be able to back into that number. Or if you contact the company they may be able to tell you from their records.
