Looking for any information about potential new drilling as I have been getting a lot of unsolicited letters and calls lately, I am currently leased at a 1/5 royalty, but there is no production that I am aware of.
I own minerals in Sections 35 and 36 of 13N-18W. Any info is greatly appreciated!

I don’t have the skills or the knowledge to find any new permits or litigation plans. What I can see (Google OCC Well Finder Data) that there is a Form 1000 Permit To Drill a couple of section west and 1 section South of you. However, it’s drilling 3 sections South. It is drilling in the Cherokee Formation. If You’re receiving unsolicited offers, there’s a very good chance someone is looking to drill. We inherited a section a few years ago and last year we only received about $400 in Royalties all together. It was more problem that was worth it to us. Someone offered to buy, we sold at the first offer. # months later, figured out why. Live and learn.

Permit in 29/32-13B-18W Territory.
Permit in 1/12 Anthem-Rig on site.
Permit in 6/7/18 12N-17W -Rig on site. Territory just to the SE of you.
I see two dry holes in 35 & 36, so unless you lease was very recent, it would have expired with the old wells. Quite a bit of recent leasing in 25 & 36. Probably Cherokee horizontals on the horizon.

Patience at this point to see who might be the operator in the next two years. Since Territory has a rig very close by, that is a contender.
