# Letter to lease my mineral rights

I received a letter to lease my mineral rights Section 33 Township 12N Range 15W. Did anyone else get this letter? Is there any drilling going on in this location? Anyone have any information on this area?

Section 33 Township 12N Range 15W

It looks like there are 24 active rigs within a 50 mile radius.

No drilling yet. One has to be leased before drilling. There is an increased interest in horizontal drilling for the Red Fork and Cherokee formations in the vicinity. Several rigs are running within the townships nearby. You can choose to lease or wait for forced pooling if it is offered. If you have not leased for a while, it would be wise to get a good oil and gas attorney to look over the draft lease. They are rarely in the mineral owners’ favor and need edits.
