Mineral owners in St. Tammany need to be aware. 3/16th is not a suitable lease percentage. You should look at getting somewhere between 20% - 25% of the Gross Production. No expenses, not delivered to the credit of the Lessor. Bonuses will range from $100 to at most $400 per net mineral acre at first. If they are successful, then more in later leasing. Do 3 year terms with no 2 year option. If you need help please contact me. If they go into producing commercial quantities, you are in this relationship for life. No renegotiating.
