I work in a trust department in Kansas and have an elderly client who owns 6-9 acres of mineral interests in this section. She was contacted by an oil company to lease her interest. Can someone advise her on what the current lease rate is for this section? Thanks

Just looking at the past pooling numbers in the area probably around $1500 at 3/16th is a rough ballpark. Someone else may be able to give you better detail. You could probably negotiate it up to $2000, one of citizens poolings went up that high in Section 3 Township 4N Range 4W.
