# Lease offer from JHB Holdings

It is for 5 acres in the J.S. Fore Survey and B F Kutch Survey. The lease is for 3/16 and a $100 bonus. Is this reasonable for acreage in Young County?

After checking the GIS map I see where there is production in the surrounding area of your minerals (J. S. Fore Survey A-1309). Also numerous plugged oil and gas wells and several dry holes. To the north of your minerals in A-103 well API 503-39255 drilled in 1986/oil well/Mississippi formation 4,999’ Total Depth. Also in A-103 well API 503-38555/oil well/1985/2,000 Total Depth. To the south of your A-1309/well API 503-38912/gas well/Completion Report shows 274.3 MCF gas per day. Link to Completion Report:

I would think that $100 per acre and 3/16 royalty would be a fairly decent offer for the area. The same would apply to the B. F. Kutch Survey (A-1333) next door to the west of A-1309.
