Leasing bonus amounts change from year to year depending upon the competition and market conditions. Your 2012 lease was probably great for that time frame, but would not be relevant for today given the current competition and the reservoirs in play.

Back from the original Deep Bossier vertical wells drilled starting in the early 1980’s with the Anadarko & Chesapeake 22,000 ft. Wells. it’s the same formations that they are going to try to drill horizontal. The Chesapeake Richard’s 22,500 ft west of Crockett. AThe Whitehead & the Cook for examples.
