I inherited mineral rights but I’m struggling to figure out where exactly they are and if there is a well on them. I’ve found the original deed which only lists SE/4 of 2668 T. E. & L. Co. Survey in Jack County. I’m not sure how to translate that into League/Labor/Block.

Hoping someone does!

@Evan_Thomas, this area is also known as A-763, or Section 2668 of the TE & L Survey. It is in the southwest portion of the County about 6.5 miles south of Bryson, Texas. It doesn’t look like there are any active wells in the SE quadrant.

Thanks! Is there an easy well to tell if there have ever been wells there?

@Evan_Thomas, the RRC map above does not show any known plugged or historical wells. Only a “dry hole” is shown in the area.
