# Is it a good time to invest in oil and nat gas royalties?

I had a few older properties that have been dependably producing and this past month my check doubled from Pantera! It got me thinking that maybe it might be a good time to invest more.

I checked out Energynet and it seems like Caddo’s starting bid for many properties works out to approximately 5% per month of the potential purchase price. And some of those auctions go without bids. This seems like a great ROI to me.

So is it that good right now in the industry for a royalty purchaser or am I missing something?
