# Intersest on past royalties

I have corresponded several times with major operator finally received royalties on production from 2020 forward. Requested interest on past due royalties. Per several emails from major company say accounting is working it. Yet to see any check.

Does this need to be handled by an attorney? Royalties are in Texas.

I would suggest a certified letter with return receipt.
