Hello all my name is Lauana Odom. I have been a resident of this county all my life and for the past 62 years have lived in 33/8/6. Who would have thought at my age, I would be getting a new education, but here I am learning all kinds of new language, terms etc. I am grateful for your group. You have taught me a lot the last few months, even though I haven't joined until now, it has been a great experience. Concerning the proposed drilling in 9/7/6, we have heard that it will be drilled to the north into our section not into section 16. Don't know if that is just a rumor, there is a well staked in section 33 about a year ago, but that was before they started drilling laterally across two sections. Any ideas?

Hi Lauana, I know how you feel we inherited our minerals from my Grandmother 30 years ago and now I am getting a nice royalty check each month.
I found that Continental Resources received a Pooling Order to drill the Yell 1-16-9XH in sections 9 & 16-7N/6W as you mentioned. They do not have a drilling permit yet but they have 270 days from the date of the order issued on Feb 15, 2013. I don't find anything pending on 33-8N/6W

Lauana, I think Sec.33-7n-6w Continental spud a well the 25th of last mo. Also I believe Continental spud a well in Sec.16-7n-6w in Feb. this year. Some one correct me if my records are not right.

Randall, I believe she asked about 33-8N/6W. I also covered the question of section 16 and 9-7N/6W in my answer above. I didn't find a spud report for 16-7N/6W on the OCC wellbrowse.

Hutch, Thanks for the correction. I saw where Cont. had pooling approved in 9 & 16 and a multi Horizontal in 16. Some where between what I thought I read and my records I had a little CRS moment. I'll be more carefull about posting. I don't post much but try to keep up on Grady. My dad was a Abstractor in Chickasha for years and spent several years leasing for companies. I really appreciate this site and you guys that share your info. with us. Randall
