I was contacted by a Land man about 7 weeks ago,she works AED Group, LLC
About AFFIDAVIT OF HEIRSHIP
Concerning Richard E. Stephens
who was my great grand father
I found out that EOG is on the land and it is getting oil
I need help on what to do Please Thank you chawn
I am in Florida
107.33 acres, more or less, being 50 acres out of the W. Scarborough Survey, A-669, and 57 1/3 acres out of the E.L. Lehman Survey, A-1100, Montague County, Texas, described in a Mineral Deed dated February 24, 1971, recorded at Volume 604, Page 439, Deed Records, Montague County, Texas, from Janie Stephens Stone and husband, S.B. Stone, to Eva Walker Giles.

You should have an attorney review this, as an Affidavit of Heirship can be used against you if it is incorrect.

I would suggest calling Attorney Chuck Bartush in Muenster Texas. He is familiar with dealing with EOG and his office is in the next county to the east of Montague County. His telephone number is 940-759-2913. He handles all our oil and gas affairs in Montague County and may possibly be able to assist you as well.
